GENESIIS SOFTWARE – a leading IT company specialized in software engineering and GIS, and owner/operator of the topjobs careers and recruitment platform, carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support deserving schoolchildren at a school in Bandarawela.
Education is a cornerstone of national development and therefore GENESIIS has prioritized education as its key focus area in implementing CSR initiatives in recent years. The Company’s focus in this respect has been the remote, rural, and less resourceful schools serving economically disadvantaged communities. The schools that have benefited from its previous CSR initiatives stand as clear evidence of the success of these efforts.
In light of the feedback received from its earlier programs in this sector, the Company has selected Bandarawela Mahanama Vidyalaya as the deserving school to benefit from this initiative.
On 6th April 2026, all students of Bandarawela Mahanama Vidyalaya received essential school supplies, contributing to a more enriched learning experience and improved support for their daily academic activities. In addition, the school offices were equipped with a modern multifunction printer along with essential stationery, to enhance and support their administrative operations.
On the day of the handover, the school warmly welcomed and received the donations, with the principal and teachers expressed their appreciation and acknowledging the value of its contribution to the school community.
