 The
TRW is an expert system developed for the construction
industry to enable companies to rapidly process complex
Bill of Quantity (BOQ) documents and devise an accurate
cost estimate for tender responses.
Unlike most expert systems, the TRW has been designed
with the end-user in mind to ensure ease of use and
lower learning curve. The use of intuitive graphical
user interface has been designed to take up as little
computer screen space as possible while permitting you
to open many window screens to view several aspects
of your tender simultaneously. Developed to run on Microsoft
Windows platforms (98/ME/NT/2000/XP) and Linux, the
TRW makes use of your exiting rate and material libraries
and can be integrated with Microsoft Office for tender
capture and reporting.
The seamless integration into the Microsoft Office
environment allows raw BOQ specifications to be imported
directly from Microsoft Excel. The TRW also allows you
to organize and maintain your construction resources
using a four-level classification, and build up new
rates or customize existing rates as your require and
can be re-used over and over again. This adds to the
streamlining of the entire tender response process by
allowing accurate final tender sum to include BOQ cost,
overheads and added mark-up to each BOQ item to produce
a costed BOQ that can be given to your client. |
